Deleting your Social media data

Here you can find out how to delete the data Crelto received from Facebook, Instagram, Threads and TikTok, and check a deletion request.

How to delete your data

  • In Crelto

    Open Social media → Accounts and disconnect the account. Its access tokens are erased immediately, and posts scheduled on that account are no longer published.

  • From Facebook, Instagram or Threads

    Remove Crelto in the platform's app settings. Meta notifies us automatically and we erase the access tokens immediately. If you also send a data deletion request from there, we delete the connected accounts completely and you receive a confirmation code that you can check on this page.

  • From TikTok

    Remove Crelto in TikTok's settings. TikTok notifies us automatically, and we stop using the account and erase its access tokens. We recommend disconnecting the account in Crelto as well; to have the account deleted from Crelto completely, write to us.

  • By email

    Write to us at support@creatego.net with the email address or phone number of your Crelto account and the accounts you want us to delete. We reply once the data has been deleted.

What gets deleted

When you request deletion, we delete, for the accounts concerned:

  • the ID, name, username and profile picture link;
  • the access and refresh tokens and the granted permissions;
  • the TikTok creator settings;
  • the publishing scheduled on these accounts and their publishing history.

Disconnecting in Crelto erases the tokens. The account's name and ID stay in Crelto only so that the history of posts already published still shows where they appeared. To delete them too, send a deletion request or write to us.

The posts you wrote in Crelto (text, photos, videos) stay in your planner until you delete them. Posts already published stay on the platform: you can delete them there. You can also delete your whole Crelto account at any time, with the posts in your planner and all its other data, in Settings → Delete account; the steps are described at crelto.com/delete-account.

How long it takes

The module's data is deleted immediately, as soon as you disconnect the account or we receive the request from Meta. Copies in backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
